| To prep and paint a spoiler there's about 100$ in materials alone if you do it yourself. A shop buys in bulk so there is less waste and a lower overall cost for them. You can paint yourself and get good results but developing painting skills takes time and practice. A good gun cost about $250 and you'll need a respirator ($25), a larger compressor ($$$) and a dust free place to do it. There are so many pitfalls in painting, it's not easy to get good results. I've painted my Z in my garage and got good result, I'm presently painting a Mercedes and it's coming out great but I can tell you I've made many mistakes and it's taken years for me to develop the painting skill necessary for a quality Job. A no hassle 300 sound good to me.
